Adult Education

Adult Education programs are for people who want to brush up on their math, reading, writing and other general skills. Participants gain confidence in taking tests, answering job applications, filling out forms and helping their children with school work. This program is designed for people of all education levels - whether or not they have completed high school or college.

Summer 2024 Adult Education programs: Takes place July 15 - Aug. 1

• Monday through Thursday: 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday: 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.

2024-25 School Year Adult Education Classes: Takes place Sept. 3 - June 3

Resources are available for students preparing for the U.S. Citizenship Test. This is not a separate class.

The English Learner (EL) Program is designed to help individuals improve their basic English skills (reading, writing and conversation) as well as gain an understanding of the American culture. EL students learn important skills to help enhance their lifestyle in the United States.

The GED® program is designed to help people who did not receive a high school degree and are preparing to take the GED® test. Through this program, participants pre-test in the four GED® test areas and receive tutoring in problem areas. Instructors help to assess the individual needs of the students and provide practice test-taking opportunities.
